The Black Keys is a blues-rock band consisting of vocalist/guitarist Dan Auerbach and drummer/producer Patrick Carney. Their recent album, Brothers, got nominated for four Grammy's. I totally dig their sound. When I'm alone in the house I turn it up as loud as it goes and all of a sudden I'm a rock-ing and a blues-ing. I'm a rockstar.

Also, I hooorah-ed to learn Bright Eyes is releasing a new album, The People's Key, come February 15. Love Conor Oberst, and thanks to NPR, I've been listening to the album all day as my study accompaniment. NPR'S First Listen is streaming the album in its entirety until the album's release. ReplyDeleteMusic Muse Monday is a nice alliteration but I always have to think twice about it b/c the first thing I think of is the band Muse. Maybe u should take out the word. or actually take out Music, it will loosen up the redundancy!
