What a busy week we've had! I will update later with details, but I wanted to do a quick post with pictures of food. Because really, what is better than pictures of food? Here's a compilation of some food pictures from the past few months


One of my most favorite things to eat: sushi, specifically, hurricane rolls at Momo's in Va Beach.

I love a good omlet, and boy this omlet was good. Spinach, mushrooms and feta cheese omlet at Pocahantas Pancakes, Va Beach.


The soup wasn't good. But look at the pretty font and colors!

a trip to minneapolis

We traveled to Minneapolis, Minnesota over the fourth of July weekend. We went there for the juniors national boy's volleyball tournament and it was a great time. First of all, traveling with nine 15-year old boys is pretty funny. Secondly, the parents that went were rad. Third, I watched a lot of volleyball and liked it. Fourth, I saw my husband grow as a coach. Fifth, Minneapolis is a neat city.

...in the summer time. Apparently, in the winter, it is death. So says my friend, Elle Park! :) Getting to see her and hang out with her every day was a huge bonus of the trip. It was so nice to do quick roams around the city with an old friend, and I was grateful for our time together.
