Ashley's birthday

A few weeks ago we celebrated Ashley's birthday at our place, and it was great fun! I made my first roasted chicken, there were cupcakes shaped like reindeer, and we all agreed 29 was THE age to be, obviously.

A look back to t-day weekend

It's been quiet on the blog front for a few weeks now, but it's been beyond busy for the past few weeks, and yes I got fully swept up in the craze that is the month of December. I'm catching up now though, and a lot of news to come, but to start, a few pictures from a month ago: Thanksgiving weekend. Potluck dinner with community group, a visit from K's cousin, Allen's family, a visit from Sharon, and a visit to Eunice in Durham, N.C.

lauren moffatt 2012

I know we are roaring into the Christmas holiday, but wanted to share a little peek into Lauren Moffatt's Spring 2012 collection because: 1) it is love-love-lovely, and 2) really, anything to distract me away from this cold. I am excited for Christmas and spending time with family and friends, but oh, am I ready for spring.
