We traveled to Minneapolis, Minnesota over the fourth of July weekend. We went there for the juniors national boy's volleyball tournament and it was a great time. First of all, traveling with nine 15-year old boys is pretty funny. Secondly, the parents that went were rad. Third, I watched a lot of volleyball and liked it. Fourth, I saw my husband grow as a coach. Fifth, Minneapolis is a neat city.
...in the summer time. Apparently, in the winter, it is death. So says my friend, Elle Park! :) Getting to see her and hang out with her every day was a huge bonus of the trip. It was so nice to do quick roams around the city with an old friend, and I was grateful for our time together.
'Twas a rough week of work. If it weren't for volleyball, dusk runs, workout in the park, Bikram yoga, and husband to give me bone crushing hugs, there would have been much more withering and complaining. So really, I guess I'm grateful. But boy was I ready for Friday! and a visit to Texas beach was in order. The walk and dip was lovely. Rusty loved it, too.
